With immense pleasure, we feel proud to share that our school has been felicitated with ‘District Level Award’ in ‘Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar 2017’ during the Award Ceremony held at Delhi Secretariat on 12th Dec. 2018. Our school achieved 5 stars (Excellent) with an overall score of 92%. The Award has been constituted by MHRD, Govt. of India under the aegis of ‘Swachh Bharat Swachh Vidyalaya Mission’. This was received by Ms. Jyoti Bery (HOD Primary) & Manav B. Nair (Head Boy) from Sh. Manish Sisodia, Dy. Chief Minister of Delhi. The Award is accompanied with a prize money of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand).

A team of 2 students, Ayushi Verma and Shiti Sharma of class X ,designed a pamphlet to sensitize students about the water conserving technique- Rain Water Harvesting. We should all pledge to do our part and follow this technique to save mother Earth.
KARO SAMBHAV SCHOOL PROGRAMME -REPORT
Karo Sambhav is a tech-enabled, environmentally beneficial and socially responsible e-waste Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO). It has set-up an India-wide transformative solution on e-waste management with the aim of making recycling a way of life.
The karo-sambhav team is working with a range of electronics brands, industry associations, municipal corporations, NGOs, informal sector waste pickers, collectors and aggregators, and responsible recyclers across India.
The Curriculum for this program was designed in the form a toolkit, consisting of six exercises. These exercises provide exposure to students through various individual and group exercises. The exercises included in toolkit were as follows-

Understanding The Life Cycle Of Waste
E-Wareness
Design For Environment
E-Waste Collection Drive
Let?s Make It Possible
Each exercise had different set of activities. Our students had actively participated in various activities and the evidence of same were uploaded and shared with karo sambhav team through Google drive.
On successful completion of all the exercises our school was awarded points. The final result declared on 12 February 2018 was on the basis of points earned and activities conducted during the project.
25 schools from all over Delhi had participated in this project. Out of which only 3 schools has received Platinum Certificate. Our school has been awarded with the highest Platinum Certificate along with
